The Massoth 8FL is a miniature function decoder, featuring 8 function outputs, each with a maximum load capacity of 500mA, and a total combined load capacity of 1 Amp. It can handle servos, Massoth motor drives, Massoth uncouplers, light bulbs, and LEDs. Light and function outputs are dimmable and can be activated in analog mode.

The 8FL features two programmable high resolution function outputs for RC servo control permitting standard and precision servo push button operations as well as servo operations with speed steps. Operation of RC servos requires a separate, stabilized 5V circuit.

The Massoth eMOTION 8FL decoder is compatible with NMRA DCC.

The 8FL decoder is supplied with a custom made connector which fits the function decoder interface found in many of LGB®'s RhB cars (e.g. 30250, 30523, 31520, 3152). These cars are ready, and perfect for retrofitting with the eMOTION 8 FL Function Decoder. These cars use 4 the 8 available functions of the 8FL decoder, leaving the other four for your choice of functions.

You may install the function decoder in components that do not have an LGB® function interface connection by cutting off the custom made connector. Detailed wiring diagrams are provided in the user's manual

The eMOTION 8 FL Function Decoder is very small in size; 14mmx28mm with a thickness of only 6mm, allowing easy installation in locomotives, cars, and buildings.
